Our rustic log cabin is a "true" log
home situated on several fenced acres facing Sunset Ridge in the
front and beautiful Lake Glenville from the rear.
The Log Cabin's front yard has seating areas nestled under the tall
trees and a comfortable hammock for relaxing on a lazy afternoon.
The covered front porch features oversized rocking chairs.
As you approach the Log Cabin, you
will see the old barn (circa 1935) ahead on your right. Looking
to your left you can't miss the "Chuck Wagon"
which many guests have rented for use at their family reunions,
barbecues and even a casual wedding reception. Here you will also
find the children's swing set, rope swings and a large pasture
area perfect for a game of badminton or horseshoes or just tossing
around a football.
Step through the front door into the large wood paneled great
room with vaulted ceiling, wall to wall carpeting and fireplace
with a Tennessee Fieldstone hearth and surround.
Adjacent to the dining area which features an antique
dining table is the fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast bar.
At the far end of the kitchen behind a sliding pocket door is
the laundry center and pantry.
Large windows abound in both of these areas providing views of
the lake, surrounding woods and sunsets.
From the great room's dining area walk out
onto the large screened-in porch facing the wooded back yard and
Lake Glenville.
The porch has a large picnic table, ceiling fans, lounge and Adirondack
chairs that create small conversation areas to enjoy while you watch
the spectacular sunsets for which the area is known.
When you're ready to turn in for the evening,
there are two large bedrooms one with a king size bed and bathroom
with shower, the other with two full size beds and large bathroom
with tub and shower.
This open, spacious log home is decorated with an eclectic mix
of antiques and rustic mountain furnishings.
There are ceiling fans throughout as well as central heating and
air conditioning.
